Tour Itinerary
Day 01 Arrive in Delhi.
Welcome to the city that defines Indian history and politics, welcome to Delhi.
On arrival, the representative will take you to your respective hotel where you will check-in and refresh, before heading out on the Delhi Tour. On the trip, you will visit iconic places like Raj Ghat and Jama Masjid. Next, you will pass the Red Fort (Lal Quila) and the busy markets of Chandni Chowk. In the afternoon, you will visit the Qutub Minar – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Humayun Tomb. Later on, the tour will continue to India Gate, the Parliament House, President House (Rashtrapati Bhawan) and other Government Secretarial Buildings.
The night tour with end with Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Overnight stay in Delhi hotel.
Day 02 Drive from Delhi to Mandawa - Exploring the Mandawa monuments (235 km)
In this day, you will travel to Mandawa from Delhi by road. Mandawa, established by Thakur Nawal Singh, is well known for its beautiful Havelis and mansions.
On the trip, you will visit the stunning Indian villages - Nawalgarh, and Dundlod, besides Mandawa, collectively known as Shekhavati Village. Overnight stay in Mandawa.
Day 03 Drive from Mandawa to Bikaner – Exploring historical Bikaner monuments (188 km)
This day, you will travel to Bikaner from Mandawa.
The evening is dedicated to visiting ancient Junagadh Fort. The architecture of the fort is a blend of Mughal, Rajput, and Western influences. While exploring the fort, you will visit the Suraj Pol and Chand Pol – the impressive gates of this massive fort. Apart from that, you will visit the Joramal Temple and Har Mandir Temple. Overnight stay in Bikaner.
Day 04 Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer (331 km)
In this day, you will travel from Bikaner to Jaisalmer on road. The evening is dedicated to shopping at some of the beautiful markets of Jaisalmer. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 05 Visit to historical Jaisalmer monuments
After a good night sleep, start afresh with your Jaisalmer tour. Your first destination for the day is Jaisalmer fort - one of the oldest living forts of the region. While touring the yellow sandstone structure, you will come across the stunning ornamental designs of wooden carvings. The five-storied Tazia Tower, Salim Ji Ki Haveli, and Patwon ki Haveli will be on the itinerary as well. In the evening, you will visit the stunning Jain Temples of the area. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.
Day 06 Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. Later visit historical Jodhpur monuments (285 km)
On this day, you will be transferred to Jodhpur. At Jodhpur, visit Meherangarh fort, Moti Mahal (the Pearl Palace), and Phool Mahal (the Palace of Flowers) will be in the itinerary. Apart from that, you will visit the spectacular cenotaph known as Jaswant Thada.
Later on, you will visit the Umaid Public Gardens and Umaid Bhawan Museum. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.
Day 07 Drive from Jodhpur to Udaipur with Ranakpur visit en route (255 km)
On today travel goals, you will head towards Udaipur from Jodhpur by road. En-route you will stop at Ranakpur, to visit the beautiful Jain Temples like the very popular Chamukha Temple. Besides that, you will visit the Surya Temple and the Jain Temple. After the Ranakpur halt, you will commence your journey to Udaipur where you will spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 08 Visit the historical Udaipur monuments
Today expedition will start from City Palace, located at the backdrop of Lake Pichola. Later on, you will head towards the Jagdish Temple that is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Besides that, you will also get a chance to explore the Fatehsagar Lake, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir and Sahelion ki Bari. Spend the afternoon to explore the local bazaars. Overnight stay in Udaipur hotel.
Day 09 Drive from Udaipur to Pushkar. Later visit the historical places (320 km)
This morning, you will travel to Puskar from Udaipur. In the afternoon, you will get a chance to explore the beautiful city of Pushkar – one of the important centres for pilgrimage for Hindus. Overnight stay in Pushkar hotel.
Day 10 Drive from Pushkar to Jaipur (143 km)
In the morning, you will be driven to Jaipur from Pushkar. Upon arrival, you will have the entire day at leisure. Overnight stay at Jaipur.
Day 11 Visit the historical Jaipur monuments
In the morning, your Jaipur tour will start with Amer Fort (Amer Palace). Some of the must-visit venues in the fort complex include Surajpol, Ganesh Gate, the temple of Goddess Sila Devi, Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public audience), Diwan-e-Khas(Hall of Private Audience), and Sukh Niwas (Hall of Pleasures). Ascend the fort on foot, or elephant back or jeep. Next destination on the list would be Maharaja City Palace and its stunning interiors. Apart from that, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal would be on the Jaipur travel itinerary as well. Later on, you will visit the stunning Pink Rose Garden. Day 12 Drive from Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra (244 km)
In this day, you will travel to Agra from Jaipur, en-route Fatehpur Sikri – a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
At the Sikri, you will visit the Jama Masjid, the Tomb of Salim Chishti, the five-storied Panch Mahal and Buland Darwaza. In addition, you will visit the Ibadat Khana, Mariam-uz-Zamani palace, Naubat Khana and Birbal house. After the detour at Fatehpur Sikri, you will commence the Agra tour. You will have the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Agra hotel.
Day 13 Visit the historical Agra monuments
The highlight of today expedition is a visit to the Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Later on, you will visit the historically significant UNESCO World Heritage Site, Agra Fort. Consisting of several fairy-tale complexes you will visit the Khas Mahal, Jahangir Palace, Diwan-e-Aam (Hall of Public Audience) and Diwan-e-Khas (Hall of Private Audience). Spend the afternoon to visit other places of interest. Overnight stay in a hotel in Agra.
Day 14 Agra to Gwalior by road. Later visit the historical Gwalior monuments (119 km)
In the morning, you will be driven from Agra to Gwalior by road. On reaching the city, you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest for the remaining part of the day.
In the afternoon, you will tour the 16th century Man Mandir, the Gujari Mahal, Teli Ka Mandir, Sas-bahu Temple, and Jai Vilas Palace. In addition to it, the mausoleum of the Tansen, and the Tomb of the Gaus Mohammad will also be included in your Gwalior expedition. Explore the bazaars of the city for capturing the local flavours and some shopping. Overnight stay in Gwalior hotel.
Day 15 Drive from Gwalior to Orchha.
This day is dedicated to Orchha expedition. You will cover a distance of 119 km by road from Gwalior to Orchha. At the picturesque small town, established in the 15th century, you will get a chance to explore the magnificent Orchha Fort and its interior complexes and the Chaturbhuj Temple. For a spellbinding view of the city, climb the roof of the camel shelter - Uth Khana. Rest of the day is dedicated to exploring the tombs, temples, and cenotaphs of the town. Overnight stay in Orchha hotel.
Day 16 Drive from Orchha to Khajuraho (173 km)
From Orchha, you will travel to Khajuraho by road. On arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will explore the beautifully carved temples of the city. Starting from Bharatji or Chitragupta temple, you will visit the Chausath Yogini Kali Temple, Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Nandi and Vishvanath Temples as well as the Shiva Vishnu Temple. Apart from these Hindu temples, you will visit the Parasvanath Temple – a Jain Temple, Lord Adinath Temple, and Javeri temple (dedicated to River Yamuna). Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 17 Fly from Khajuraho to Varanasi
Board the flight to Varanasi. Check-in to the hotel at Varanasi. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or exploring the local bazaars. Do buy the souvenirs to take back home. If you are in a mood for some exploration, then you can opt for the optional tour to Sarnath – the place where Gautama Buddha preached his lessons on Dharma. Overnight stay in Varanasi hotel.
Day 18 Visit historical Varanasi monuments
Start the morning with a refreshing boat ride on the River Ganga. On the ride, you will cross the stunning Manikarnika and Harishchandra Ghats. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight stay in Varanasi hotel.
Day 19 Varanasi to Delhi by flight
On the last leg of the trip, you will be taken to the airport for boarding your flight to Delhi. Upon arrival, you will board your connecting flight to your destination back home. As most of the flights are scheduled for midnight, you would not be provided with any accommodation for the day.
