Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in the city of Bangalore
On the first day, you will arrive in the city of Bangalore where you will be met by our representatives. You will be provided with your lodgings and are free for the rest of the day to rest or tour the city as per your choice. One of the most prominent cities in South India, Bangalore is also known as the Silicon Valley of India, from where some of the top-notch MNCs operate.
Day 2: Tour of the city of Bangalore
The 2nd day is totally dedicated to the tour of the city. You will be able to get a glimpse of the various parts of the city, visit some of its popular temples and visit some of the popular tourist sites like the Lal Bagh and the Maharajas Palace.
Day 3: Go from Bangalore to Kochi to Alleppey
On the 3rd day, you will be driven to the Bangalore airport from where you will be taking a flight to Kochi. Once in Kochi you will be driven to Alleppey or Alappuzha as it is also known. You will be spending the night at a hotel in Alappuzha.
Day 4: Tour of the city of Alleppey
Also known as the Venice of the East, Alleppey, which is a part of the state of Kerala, is famous for its canals, lagoons and boathouses. You will spend the day exploring the city, and in the afternoon you will experience the backwaters and canals on a rice houseboat. You will be able to spend the night on a houseboat which will be the highlight of the day!
Day 5: Alleppey to Kochi and then to Chennai
On day 5 you will be taken again to the Kochi airport where you will board a flight to Chennai. On arriving in the city, you will be taken to the hotel and the day is dedicated to the tour of the city of Chennai, which includes visiting various museums and popular tourist spots.
Day 6: Drive from Chennai to Pondicherry
On the 6th day, you will be driven from Chennai to Pondicherry and spend the night there. You will be able to visit a number of churches and buildings from the colonial era and other popular spots like Promenade Beach, Auroville Beach, Paradise Beach, and Serenity Beach.
Day 7: Explore Pondicherry and drive from Pondicherry to Mamallapuram
On this day you will be able further to explore the city of Pondicherry and some of the other popular areas like the French Quarters Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Auroville and the Lord Ganesha Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple. Then you will be driven to Mamallapuram or Mahabalipuram, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and spend the night there. Here you will visit cave temples and mandapams, the five chariots, the Shore temple and more.
Day 8: Drive from Mahabalipuram to Chennai
This is the last day of the tour, and you will be taken from Mahabalipuram to Chennai Airport where you are provided assistance to board your return flight.
